Set in one of the Algarve’s most established coastal destinations, Vilamoura is shaped by the Atlantic, the light of the south and a rare balance between calm and connection. Its character is found in the nearness of the sea, the presence of renowned golf courses, the care of a secure and well-maintained environment, and the quiet continuity of a year-round lifestyle shaped by comfort, privacy and ease.
A Quiet Dialogue
HAMA and MORI form two distinct compositions in quiet dialogue with Vilamoura: one closer to its established rhythm, the other opening toward a more expansive landscape. Different in character yet connected by the same vision, they allow the project to move between community and privacy, urban proximity and a more open sense of retreat.
Setting
To the south and close to the coast, Hama opens to the horizon and the light off the sea. Mori sits to the north, facing the inland landscape of the golf course. Each one is organised around what lies before it, and it is from this orientation that the character of each is drawn.
